Drying Time

The Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied to your vehicle undergoes a curing process that spans between 30 and 60 days. The initial days after installation - ranging from three to seven days, are critical, and we recommend refraining from washing your vehicle during this period. Subsequently, gentle hand washes are advised. Complying with the manufacturer's prescribed care guidelines is essential for the long-term maintenance of the film. We highly encourage a post-delivery inspection approximately one week after installation to proactively address potential concerns, such as the occurrence of any lifted edges.  

Vehicle Condition for PPF Installation

It is imperative that your vehicle remains devoid of any pre-existing paint protection treatments, such as ceramic coatings or waxes, prior to PPF installation. Such treatments can compromise the adhesive integrity of the PPF, potentially leading to issues such as bubbling or lifting. It is worth noting that PPF is expressly engineered for adherence to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) factory paint. By proceeding with PPF application on non-OEM paint surfaces, the client waives any associated claims or warranties against Topline Designs Inc.

Paint

In instances where paint preparation or painting processes have not been executed to the requisite standard, there is a possibility of paint lifting during PPF installation or removal, particularly on repainted panels. By granting Topline Designs Inc. authorization for installation, the client acknowledges the inherent risks associated with the process and waives any claims against the company, thereby absolving Topline Designs Inc. of liability for any potential damage during installation.

Paint Chips

PPF serves as an effective deterrent against future paint chip damage. However, when applied over existing paint chips, it may result in an uneven surface and appear as contamination. We do not recommend addressing minor paint chips with touch-ups post-PPF installation, as it can compromise the aesthetic quality. PPF will not protect from dents, and is intended to be a sacrificial layer in the event of rock chips and abrasions.

Installation

It is essential to recognize that all PPF kits are meticulously hand-cut, a process that demands a high degree of precision and care. Furthermore, PPF, by its nature, functions as a sacrificial layer for your vehicle, and it does not render a completely invisible or matte finish. When relevant, edges are meticulously wrapped to ensure comprehensive coverage. By granting Topline Designs Inc. authorization for installation, the client acknowledges and assumes responsibility for the inherent risks, waiving any claims against the company Topline Designs Inc. of liability for any potential damage during the installation process.

Headlights

Warranty coverage is excluded for headlights due to their distinctive features, notably the high-intensity discharge (HID) system and exterior coating. By authorizing Topline Designs Inc. for headlight film installation, the client acknowledges the associated risks, waives any claims against the company, and agrees to absolve Topline Designs Inc. of liability.

Film, Badge, and Decal Removal

The removal of film, badges, or decals has the potential to affect the integrity of the paint. By authorizing Topline Designs Inc. for removal, the client acknowledges the associated risks, waives any claims against the company, and agrees to absolve Topline Designs Inc. of liability for any potential damage during the removal process.

Imperfections

While our pursuit is excellence in all installations, it is important to understand that, owing to the inherent characteristics of PPF, minor imperfections, and occasional dust contamination may be present in every application. Additionally, pre-existing blemishes, scratches, and paint chips may become more apparent post-PPF installation. PPF may exhibit minor imperfections, as it essentially functions as a substantial adhesive film applied over the paint. It is imperative to recognize that PPF is fundamentally designed for protective purposes, rather than exclusively for aesthetic enhancement.
